Early Modern British and Irish History

Seminar or event series

Our seminar is concerned with events in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales and in the wider Anglophone world between about 1500 and about 1750. We cover most types of history, and aim to complement the separate seminar in early modern economic and social history. We host talks by members of the university, especially advanced PhD students, and by external speakers from other institutions.
