- Web of Science (contains the Arts and Humanities Citation Index): index of over 10,000 journals and around 120,000 conference proceedings
- ARTstor: database of over 1 million digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and science
- Bibliography of British and Irish history: bibliographical database of historical writing dealing with the British Isles, the British Empire and the Commonwealth, from 55 B.C. to the present
- Gale Primary Sources: digital archive of 3 million pages of British newspapers (national and regional),newsbooks and ephemera
- Cambridge Companions Online: e-book versions of the Cambridge Companion series (these can also be accessed directly through iDiscover)
- Cambridge Histories Online: e-book versions of the Cambridge History series
- Historical Abstracts: bibliographical database of world history, indexing over 2,300 journals
- JSTOR: digital archive of over 1,000 academic journals
- Oxford Dictionary of National Biography: biographies of over 57,000 individuals
- Oxford Reference Online: language and subject reference works; includes a number of subject-specific titles for history
- History & Policy: collaboration between the History Faculty of the University of Cambridge, the Centre for History in Public Health and the Centre for Contemporary British History; website includes papers and opinion articles written by historians
- History Data Service: brings together data collections spanning the late 10th to the 20th century. Particularly strong in 19th and 20th century economic and social history. Includes statistics, census records, demographic data and electoral history.
- History Online: Created by the Institute of Historical Research, this initiative indexes books and journal articles, details history lecturers in the U.K., digital history projects, and current and past historical research
- British History Online: digital library of primary and secondary sources for medieval and modern history of the British Isles
- H-Albion: discussion network for British and Irish history; includes online book reviews
- Reviews in History: free e-journal publishing weekly reviews and reappraisals of significant work in all fields of historical interest
