From 21 January 2025, the Seeley Library will operate from inside the University Library on West Road. The space runs alongside the Main Reading Room on the first floor (step-free access is available). This includes what some people may know as the West Room and some additional space, which was specially renovated and designed to house the Seeley Library.

The Seeley Library's new space includes a variety of reading spaces, a seminar room for teaching and over 100,00 volumes which cover the subjects History, Land Economy, Latin American Studies, POLIS and Sociology.

The majority of the Seeley collection is housed within the West Room and the West Room Annexe. If you are unsure where to go to access material please contact us at seeley@hist.cam.ac.uk .
