A weekly, term-time, podcast featuring interviews with the presenters at the Cambridge American History Seminar. Within the remit of American History, our presenters come from a wide range of disciplinary and methodological backgrounds. Typically hosted on Mondays, we talk about each presenters’ current project, as well as their broader academic interests and approach to research life.
Recent episodes have featured Prof. Bruce J. Schulman (Boston University) discussing Women Voters and the Transformation of American Politics, 1924-1928, Prof. Angus Burgin (Johns Hopkins University) on the intellectual history of the internet, and Dr. Caitlin Harvey (Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge) on University-Building in the Settlement Empire, 1840-1920.
