Part II students win prizes

Congratulations to Iona Clark and Orli Vogt-Vincent, both of whom graduated last summer.

Among the prizes for Best Undergraduate Dissertation in Levantine studies awarded by the Council for British Research in the Levant, Iona (History tripos) won the 2022 prize in the Contemporary Levantine Studies category for her dissertation ‘Irish and Indian influences on colonial policing in British Mandate Palestine, c 1922 – 1939′. The German History Society has awarded its 2022 Undergraduate Essay Prize to Orli (History and Modern Languages tripos) for her essay ‘Prisoners as Perpetrators? Nazi Concentration Camp Brothels, Masculinity, and Memory’.
