Undergraduate student, Amika George, receives MBE

Amika George, a History undergraduate at Murray Edwards College and founder of Free Periods, was the youngest recipient of the MBE this year. She received the honour for services to education.

George has successfully campaigned to convince the UK government to provide free period products at state schools and colleges across England.
