Marta Manzanares Mileo Wins Food Writing Award

Dr Marta Manzanares Mileo, currently a Marie Curie Fellow in the Faculty, has won the 2022 Sophie Coe Prize for her essay ‘Sweet Femininities: Women and the Confectionery Trade in Eighteenth-Century Barcelona’.  The £1,500 award recognizes the best writing in food history.
