The Faculty encourages all of its female graduate and postdoctoral students as well as members of staff to take advantage of the pioneering Springboard Women's Development programme, which offers a four day training module over the course of three months to aid personal development in relation to issues such as being effective at work, female assertiveness, negotiating, team-building, leadership and work-life balance https://www.training.cam.ac.uk/course/cppd-perdev3

Post-doctoral researchers in addition are encouraged to take advantage of the following courses:

- Making the most of conferences (80% of jobs are given to candidates already known to the employer)
