Source Exercise 6: The Divine Right of Kings 1

The homily identifies a close parallel or correspondence among several types of authority, which are all seen to be ultimately of the same sort: husband/wife, father/children, master/servant, rulers/subjects. Note that the 'divine right of kings' is closely related to 'patriarchalist' attitudes to gender relations.
