Damilola Adebayo


My name is Damilola Adebayo. I am a third-year PhD candidate. My thematic fields of interest are economic history; science, technology and society; and international organizations. My doctoral research investigates the complex history of the production and use of electricity in Nigeria from the 1890s to the 1970s. You can read more here ( I obtained my BA degree in History from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, and an MA in International History from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, Switzerland.

As your graduate representative, I am your first point of contact for faculty-related questions, issues and feedback. I am also your representative at CUSU/GU meetings. Do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any enquiry on graduate life within the Faculty of History.
