Erin Trahey

I received my MLitt Degree with distinction from the University of St. Andrews (2014) and my Bachelor's Degree from Davidson College (2013, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa).

Research Interests

I am a historian of early America and the colonial Caribbean, with broad interests in women, gender, and labor across the African diaspora, and the study of Atlantic slavery. My PhD thesis, supervised by Sarah Pearsall, considers the social and economic lives of women in Jamaica from 1760 until 1834.
