Emelyn Rude

Biography:

I am a PhD student at King's College. I previously completed my BA in Social Studies at Harvard University and my MPhil in Economic and Social History at the University of Cambridge. 

Research Interests

My research interests include the history of food and diet and the reciprocal relationship between the environment and what people eat. My thesis project, supervised by Dr. Paul Warde, focuses on the impact that fish stock collapses have had on American eating habits. 

Other Professional Activities

Along with Ying Dai, I am the co-convenor of the Economic and Social History Graduate Workshop.
