Tripos papers

This section provides information and guidance about the papers offered in Parts I and II of the Historical Tripos, including course guides and reading lists.

Virtual Learning Environment - CamTools/Moodle

Most Tripos papers are supported by a dedicated web-site where you will find lecture hand-outs and other materials to support learning. These are accessed via either CamTools or Moodle.  By October 2016, we expect all papers in the Faculty to have switched to Moodle, but this year is a transitional phase and we are using both platforms.

Access to these resources is restricted to students taking specific papers. For Part I papers 2-24, enrolment is organised by the Faculty on your behalf at the start of the academic year.  However, if you are taking a paper but find you have not been enrolled on its CamTools/Moodle site by week 2 of Michaelmas Term you should email the paper convenor.

The name of the paper convenor is on the webpage for each individual paper.

Many Part II papers and Part I Themes and Sources options are also supported by CamTools or Moodle.  Students taking those papers will be enrolled by the paper convenor.
