Dr Harper is joint co-ordinator of the project on ‘Sites of Asian Interaction: Networks, Ideas, Archives’. It is one component of the Joint Centre for History and Economics’ programme on ‘Exchanges of Economic, Legal and Political Ideas’ and runs concurrently with it. 'Sites of Asian Interaction' has been made possible by a grant from the Newton Trust.
