More than a hundred academics teach in the History Faculty, and their interests range widely from classical antiquity to the late twentieth century, and from the history of Britain to that of China, the United States and India. As an undergraduate at Cambridge, you'll have an opportunity to study many parts of the world, to try your hand at different kinds of historical inquiry, from cultural history to economic history or the history of political thought, and to reflect on the past from Pericles to Tony Blair.
These lectures are intended to give you a taste for the kinds of lectures undergraduate students at Cambridge attend every weekday during term. We hope you'll find them interesting, stimulating and, most of all, enjoyable!... They are provided in episodes to allow you to watch them in stages.
