Professor Peter Mandler elected next President of the Royal Historical Society
The Royal Historical Society has recently announced the election of Peter Mandler to succeed Professor Colin Jones (Queen Mary, University of London) as its next President from November 2012.
The Society, founded 1868, is the foremost learned society in the UK promoting and defending the scholarly study of the past, with over 3,000 elected Fellows and Members.
