Dr Marcella Sutcliffe was awarded the 2012 Scouloudi Historical Award for her forthcoming monograph, Victorian Radicals and Italian Democrats: A Long Connection, which will be published within the History Series of the Royal Historical Society (Boydell and Brewer, 2014). Marcella works in the Faculty of History as AHRC research associate on the project Active Citizenship, Public Engagement and the Humanities: The Victorian Model (PI Eugenio Biagini). Marcella is also convener of one of the 2012/13 CRASSH Graduate Faculty Groups.
