Graduates
Central Medieval History
The Central Medieval Workshop provides a platform for graduate students working on any topic of medieval history between the years 1000 and 1250. Although run from the Faculty of History, we invite papers covering a broad cross-section of medieval culture including art, literature, architecture, music and theology. We welcome speakers from Cambridge and further afield.
Our meetings offer an ideal opportunity for young researchers to test their new ideas in a relaxed and friendly environment. Papers last between 30 and 45 minutes, always leaving plenty of time for open discussion.
Meetings are held on Thursdays in the Teaching Room, Oldham Hall, Lucy Cavendish College at 5pm. All are very welcome to attend; wine and cheese are served.
