I.T. facilities
The GRR is open to history graduates 24/7, with occasional out-of-term bookings for summer schools and other events.
The room contains internet-connected computers, laptop docking areas, printers and a scanning station.
The GRR is a hotspot for the University Lapwing and eduroam wireless networks.

Please do not bring food or drink into the GRR. This may cause offence to your colleagues because of smells and residues. Damage to computer equipment due to spillage may also occur; it's your equipment, please look after it.
- Please do not download or attempt to install software which is not part of the standard GRR software suite of Microsoft Office, SPSS and Endnote. If you need to use software applications which you feel are essential for your work please consult the computer officers who will do their best to accommodate you.
- All virus and malware warnings should be taken seriously. Please do not use memory sticks or external drives or open email attachments which may contain viruses or other malware. If you do suspect an infection; don't panic, call the computer office.
- Please report any problems with hardware or software to the computer office, by email computer.office@hist.cam.ac.uk, by phone (35315) or in person. There is a phone on the desk by the GRR door.
